Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing set sequence of poses. The Ashtanga method involves synchronizing the breath with each movement. This produces a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
This yoga class is for beginners. If you want to try a yoga class for the first time, this is great place to start. With the aim of accepting where you’re at now. And working together to find a therapeutic way for you to work in each pose. Modifying some positions, but still keeping the flow of the sequence and focus on the breath.

Be accepted for who you are and where you are at. Be open to modifications, sometimes you need to take a step back to be able to move forward.
Learn extra poses that will balance the muscles through the hips, shoulders and upper back to help develop your yoga in a safe way.
